Webinar: AI for the Few? The Importance of the 4.0 Manager

Manager 4.0 e AI

Why AI needs the sponsorship of C-level executives and why they cannot do without AI? Who is the Manager 4.0?

On November 12th, SECO will participate in the online event promoted by RPA Italy, an association with the mission to promote and disseminate all the main topics of Digital Transformation in Italy, such as Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things.

The event’s theme will revolve around the analysis of the importance, in the implementation of AI projects, of a new class of Manager 4.0, aiming to enable new business models.

All organizational models are changing, and many argue that AI will have a more significant impact on the way we work and create added value in business than electricity. Building on SECO’s experience, the goal is to understand the possibilities of upgrading from previous operational methods.

It is possible to reorganize entire production processes based on the Lean approach without direct involvement of C-level executives, but when it comes to AI, a more profound and mature process of literacy is required, as AI, by its nature, is complex and constantly evolving.

AI allows working with data like never before, providing faster processing speed compared to traditional technologies, thus facilitating corporate governance.

This is the time for the affirmation of the new Manager 4.0, who is humble and flexible, ready to explore the new paths offered by AI and other exponential technologies, with the aim of redefining the concept of “added value” for increasingly digital and demanding customers.

From the manager to the operator, in Industry 4.0, decision-making processes are no longer based on experience but on the absolute concreteness and objectivity of data: the new ‘data-driven manager’ is far from traditional decision-making.

The webinar will be led by Luca Porcari, President of RPA ITALY and CEO of GETINET. Gianluca Venere, Chief Innovation Officer of SECO, will be accompanied by Antonio Rizzo, Professor of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies at the University of Siena, and Barbara Vecchi, CEO & Founder of Hopenly.
